Why I Started This Blog
I’ve been working in the skincare and beauty world for almost a decade, and over time I noticed something. People love skincare, but most people do not want to decode long ingredient lists or sift through confusing claims. They want real explanations that feel simple and honest.
My work keeps me inside the beauty and anti aging industry every day. I’m the Development Manager at Zahav Medspa in North Scottsdale, AZ, where I help guide our branding, digital presence and growth. On top of that, I’m constantly reading, listening to dermatologists and plastic surgeons, watching new research and attending medical aesthetic conferences. I’m not a dermatologist and I’m not trying to sell you products. I’m here because skincare is something I genuinely enjoy learning about, and I want to explain it in a way that feels calm and human.
The Moment That Sparked This Blog
Years ago I heard about ozone therapy. I didn’t think much of it at the time. Then in November 2025 I worked at the Frontiers9 Ozone Conference in Santa Barbara at the Hilton Santa Barbara Beachfront Resort. I went in with mild curiosity and left completely fascinated.
One presentation in particular stayed with me. Dr. Dennis Mihalka, DDS, shared a case on ear insufflation ozone therapy. His storytelling, his case details and the science behind the treatment pulled me right in. I even tried the therapy myself for fifteen minutes. It felt simple and surprisingly interesting, and it opened a door I didn’t expect.
After that I kept reading and researching. I asked questions, listened to more lectures and eventually tried ozone based products at home.
My First Experience With Ozonated Products
At the conference I took one of each PurO3 sample. These are oxygen infused oils in small packets. I also picked up ozonated glycerin and glycerin capsules.
I ended up trying the ozonated olive oil on a small cut on my hand for three days and I was honestly impressed. It supported healing in a quiet, gentle way. Since then I’ve been using their ozonated glycerin at night by mixing a few drops into my night cream. My skin likes it and it fits easily into my routine.
If you want to check out the products I tested, here are the exact ones:
PurO3 Ozone Infused Glycerin
PurO3 Time Release Glycerin Capsules
PurO3 Ozonated Oil Samples: Coconut, Castor, Jojoba, Olive, Hemp, Beauty Oil
I’m not affiliated with the brand. I’m simply giving credit because these were the samples offered at the conference and they were my first real introduction to ozonated skincare.

Why I Wanted to Share This
The deeper I went into researching ozone, the more I realized how confusing it can be for the average person. Between medical ozone machines, ozonated water, oils in different carrier bases and online claims that are all over the place, it gets overwhelming quickly.
If I’m already doing the research, attending the talks and trying the treatments, it makes sense to create a place where I can break it down clearly. That’s why I created Skin Care and Skin Talk. A calm space to explain what I learn without hype.

Now that the blog is officially alive, I’ll be sharing posts about ingredients, anti aging treatments, devices, and the trends I see at conferences and in clinics. My goal is to make skincare feel more understandable and less exhausting.
